The ride-hailing firm's on-demand delivery service says it has completed more than six million deliveries in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Owerri since January.
Bolt Send, the on-demand delivery service run by ride-hailing platform Bolt, has completed more than six million deliveries in Nigeria so far in 2026, according to a Daily Trust report published on 23 October.
The figure covers deliveries from January up to the announcement. The service operates in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Owerri and lets customers book pickups and drop-offs of parcels, business documents and goods through the Bolt app without making the trip themselves.
Daily Trust reports that, in 2025, deliveries grew 37% year-on-year through the 42nd week of the year. The company says small businesses increasingly use the service to fulfil customer orders, while professionals send documents and households run everyday errands.
The report ties demand to the challenges of moving around Nigerian cities, particularly Lagos, where heavy traffic and long distances slow the movement of goods.
Caroline Wanjihia, Regional Director for Rides Operations at Bolt Africa, said "six million deliveries is not just a number" and described them as moments when someone needed something to move. She added that Bolt remains focused on making the service more reliable and accessible. The report does not say when Bolt Send launched in Nigeria.
